This strawbale house on Macdougal Street is situated 10 minutes walk from town centre. There is lots of space and it is stylishly designed. There is a log burner heating the ground floor with supplementary electric and gas heating in the upstairs and sleepout areas. There is a small sheltered area outside the back door for storing skis etc. There are 3 floors Ground floor – Open plan kitchen and lounge. Bathroom with bath, shower and toilet. 1st floor – Bedroom with queen bed, opening in to large area, normally used for yoga, but I could make up single beds here if necessary. Also there is a small single bedroom. Bathroom with toilet and shower. 2nd floor – 2 X Small bedrooms. One with a double futon and one with a double bed. Office area with a single bed and broadband connection. There is a sleepout, very close to the house, with a double and a single bed It has gas powered hot water, a washing machine and a tumble drier. It has no dishwasher.
