Created over 5 years for your wellbeing, comfort & pleasure; to building biology principles. An all timber European chalet with massive beams & posts & hand carved furniture & joinery throughout. Decorated with classic & contemporary art, antique furniture, Persian rugs and leadlight glass windows & doors.

A 5 tonne Tulikivi soapstone fireplace with a pizza oven and heated benches; this is the radiant heart of the house. Circling the fire is a Natuzzi leather lounge suite, which also faces the TV, DVD & stereo.

A family sized sauna with a big viewing window to pool, lake & mountains; Children in the pool can be supervised from sauna or lounge area. The pool/sauna is easily divided from the main lounge / dining area by glass fold-away doors. Also all pool windows can be folded away for an outdoor feeling. The pool is sanitised with copper & silver ions & ozone. No chlorine, no odor, no red eyes or dry skin, plus continuous swimming against 2 powerful swim jets.

The dining area is situated by a large window with views over Lake Wanaka and the mountains; has an 8 seater carved wooden slab table and antique baroque chairs. Besides the table, a wine cabinet & enough space to dance in front of an ornate full length mirror.

Outside (the pool / dining area)is a large wooden deck for sun lounging & dining. The galley kitchen / laundry is chef designed for practicality and includes all appliances for pleasant cooking. Outside dining on the kitchen balcony, with lake views through mature trees, feels idyllic.

There are 3 bedrooms (plus a childs room) all with fine linen, natural latex/wool mattresses, woolen duvets, ensuite bathrooms with hair dryers. Each leads onto a very private courtyard with barbeque area, fountain & rose garden, all built from natural stone.

• Bedroom 1 "Ernesto", the classic one, has a superking Louis XIV bed and a white tiled ensuite bathroom which beautifully reflects a bright stained glass window, especially in the morning sun.
• Bedroom 2 "Margarete", the artist of life, has a queen sized 4 poster princess bed from 1001 nights. This room has a small ensuite bathroom.
• Bedroom 3 "Mamma mia", the mother. It has a queen sized bed & a balcony to the morning sun plus an en suite bedroom for 2 children.
  

4 bathrooms, 3 balconies, 2 decks, a rock-walled rose-garden courtyard, BBQ area & fountain.
The games room is semi-detached from the main house & includes pool, table tennis, darts, games galore, arts, crafts, stereo, TV & is the only indoor smoking area.
